I remember when +1 was the meme back in 2006. I think the execution of the +1 icon is dull and much less “social” than Facebook’s Like. Undoubtably, its forefront presence in Google searches will boost its usage. Google users, though, don’t have as much social incentive to +1 as much as they Like without the ‘friends’ social graph.
