What turned me off from Pinterest
That you are automatically forced to follow all your Facebook friends that have Pinterest.
Let’s just say out of my 500+ Facebook friends, I don’t have a deep desire to see their pins of gaudy sparkly glitter dresses or horrible future Apple product concept renderings. I wouldn’t mind if there was an “Unfollow All” button or a “Following” page where I can manage my follows in one location—but there isn’t.
Of course, the automatic following system probably contributed a bit to Pinterest’s hockey stick growth in 2011.
Please don’t make users suffer.
